Aprons

Well, my younger sister Betsy was one of the recipients of an apron for National Tie One On Day! Here she is cooking up our wonderful Thanksgiving dinner wearing her new apron! I had a lot of fun stitching up these aprons & giving them out with a loaf of Pumpkin-Cranberry Bread! If anyone wants to tell their apron story please hit the comment button below. I'd love to hear from you! By the way, her apron was from the pattern by Threaded Pear called Flirty Skirty! This pattern & more are available at the shop & on the website.

Day 2 Fall Quilt Market

Well Day 2 takes me to the Market floor where I have over 2500 vendors to visit! Moda's new Honey Buns (1.5" rolls of fabric) are a big hit as the pair up with thier jelly rolls & charm packs for some great new patterns. Lots of childrens clothing designs from the new younger designers. Makes me wish my Kate was a litle girl again! Boy I could have some fun! Here is a picture of Amy Butler showing us her adorable kimono baby outfit from her new book Sewing for Little Ones. Well time to get some rest, tomorrow is a new day! GO PHILLIES!

Lemonade Days are Here!

This weekend June 6-8th is National Lemonade Days & we celebrate by being a host lemonade stand for The Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Visit us at the shop for a icy cold glass of lemonade & make a donation to ASLF & you will automatically be enter into our drawing for this Pink Lemonade Quilt! This quilt has been a work in process for almost 2 years. We allowed many of our kids classes to work on piecing the quilt whenever we had some free time.
Fundraising statistic: ALSF is currently funding 80 research projects in leading childhood cancer institutions nationally. Awesome!
