After a very busy & hectic holiday season, I am grateful for the start of a new year! I love the renewed enthusiasm January brings. I made one New Years Resolution & that was to keep my home studio more organized. I need the structure. That is why I almost always wear an apron - I feel more organized & in control of my life. And with all those great new apron patterns out there now who can resist! Flirty Skirty from Threaded Pear is one of my favorites.
January also brings happy customers to the shop, all refreshed & ready to tackle new projects. We are looking forward to new fabrics from Amy Butler, Heather Bailey, MODA, Kona Bay & lots more. It's going to be a good year!
As i look back on 2007 I didn't get much personal quilting done, but I did manage to
get my husbands golf quilt done in time for his 50th birthday! I have been collecting the golf fabrics for 5 years & finally settled on a pattern from BlueUnderground Studios...it was perfect. Gracie, our 10 year old lab thinks so too!
